Baburam group collecting signatures of central members, suspicious leaders/activists!

KATHMANDU: It has been revealed that the party of the JSP’s Federal Council Chairperson, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, is assembling signatures from central members. The fact that signatures are being collected during the party’s internal conflict has become public.

More than a dozen leaders have expressed concern that the signature could be abused. According to the leaders, the central members’ signatures were collected both before and after the local-level elections.

There is no clear purpose for the signature collection, according to them, but there is talk of splitting the party and making its own people ministers.

Saying that the signatures were collected under the leadership of the top leader, the JSP leaders handed over a letter to the party leadership demanding action as per the party’s constitution.
