Newly appointed ministers sworn in today

KATHMANDU: The swearing-in of the newly appointed ministers is scheduled to take place today.

The ministers appointed by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will be sworn in today.

Deuba retained the Congress and Maoist ministers and appointed five new UCPN-M ministers on Sunday evening.

The newly appointed ministers will be sworn in in the morning, according to Tika Dhakal, Press Adviser to the President’s Office.

Jivan Ram Shrestha of the Unified Socialists has been promoted as Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Metmani Chaudhary as Minister of Urban Development, Bhawani Prasad Khapung as Minister of Health and Population, Sher Bahadur Kunwar as Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security and Hirachandra KC as Minister of State for Health.
