NEPSE goes green Sunday, rises by 95 points
Most companies stock prices have increased by 10%.
KATHMANDU: The stock market, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has gone green on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The share market Nepse index increased by 94.92 points on this day, reaching 1956.98 points. The Sensitive Index, which tracks trading activity in Class A companies, increased by 17.93 points to 382.84.
On this day, the transaction amount has also doubled. On this day, 63.63 million 590 shares worth Rs 2 billion 1961 million 41 thousand 8 hundred 48 rupees were bought and sold.
The value of all 194 companies that started operations on this day has increased. Most companies stock prices have increased by 10%.
Today, all of the group sub-indicators are green.
The market has improved due to the psychological impact of the agreement reached between the Capital Market Reform Struggle Committee and the Regulatory body Securities Board to address the demands of investors.
