Free cataract surgery by Ek Ek Paila Thokarpa Basic Hospital

KATHMANDU: Sunkoshi Rural Municipality residents are currently stunned. They used to have to travel from Sindhupalchowk to Dhulikhel Hospital for normal nose, ear, and throat treatment. Thokarpa Basic Hospital is currently open in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, Thokarpa.
The hospital successfully operated on 40 cataract patients on its first day of operation. According to Kumar Shahi, ward chairperson of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, the ophthalmologists went to the village house and identified the cataract patients, who were then operated on for free.
The Ek Ek Paila Foundation and the hospital organized the camp. According to Shahi, the service seekers were overjoyed to be able to receive successful treatment in the presence of eye specialists.
