Signature campaign demanding legalization of marijuana

DHANGADHI: A signature campaign has been launched in Dhangadhi demanding that the government lift the ban on marijuana.

The Far-Western State Committee of Nepal Marijuana Legalization Campaign has begun a signature collection campaign.

Kiran Thapa, the campaign’s coordinator, stated that pressure programs on the usefulness of marijuana have begun in various parts of the state, including Dhangadhi. He stated that marijuana can be turned into a source of income for the country and that the government should legitimize it.

Their objective is to collect one million signatures from various locations and present them to the government.
