Three bills tabled in Upper House
The meeting has unanimously approved the proposal seeking consideration on the 'COVID-19 Crisis Management Bill, 2078 BS'.
KATHMANDU: Three bills have been tabled in the meeting of the National Assembly, the Upper House of the Federal Parliament, today.
National Assembly Secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the ‘Finance Bill, 2079 BS’, the ‘Bill to Mobilize National Loans, 2079 BS’ and the ‘Loans and Guarantee (25th Amendment) Bill, 2079 BS’ received with the message from the House of Representatives.
The meeting has unanimously approved the proposal seeking consideration on the ‘COVID-19 Crisis Management Bill, 2078 BS’. This bill was presented by the Minister of State for Health and Population Bhawani Prasad Khapung on behalf of Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada.
Likewise, the meeting unanimously endorsed a proposal seeking consideration on the ‘Railway Bill, 2079 BS’. Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Kumari Yadav had presented the proposal.
The National Assembly will next meet at 11 am on June 26.
