After meeting governor, Gagan said, “Address the problems in economy asap”

KATHMANDU: MP Gagan Kumar Thapa, who is also the General Secretary of the ruling Nepali Congress, has met with Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and asked him to resolve the economy’s problems as soon as possible.

“I met Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and other senior officials to discuss the current liquidity crunch, the state of currency reserves, and the need to address capital market problems,” he said on Friday morning.

He also expressed confidence that monetary policy would be formulated with measures to address the economy’s problems.
