Two killed when motorcycle collides with tipper in Suryabinayak

KATHMANDU: Two people were killed in a tipper collision in the Bhaktapur district of Suryabinayak. At around 2 a.m., a tipper (Ba 4 Kha 5298) collided with a motorcycle (Ba 79 Pa 7876) traveling from Kathmandu to Jagati on Aadarsha Chowk Road in Municipality-8.

According to the Ramshahpath Traffic Police Department, the two died while receiving treatment at the Bhaktapur Hospital. Only Nischal Chauguthi, 19, of Bhaktapur Municipality-2, has been identified among the dead. Another young man, aged 20 to 21, has yet to be identified.

The body is being held at the Bhaktapur Hospital. Dhan Bahadur Thokar, 35, a tipper driver from Melung-3 in Dolakha who now resides in Sukedhara, Kathmandu, has been nabbed by police.
