Another complaint lodged against Rabi, demanding not to misinterpret word ‘independent’

KATHMANDU: Another complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission (EC) against Rabi Lamichhane, a former journalist who is preparing to form a national independent party.

Manoj Pandit and others, who are independently contesting from Kavrepalanchak Constituency No. 1 in the upcoming House of Representatives election, have lodged a complaint against Rabi.

“We want the word ‘independent’ to remain independent,” Pandit clarified to Makalu Khabar. That is our demand.”

Dambar Shahu, the coordinator of the National Independent Candidacy Campaign, and others had previously filed a similar complaint.
