Complaint lodged with EC against Lamichhane for causing harm ‘independent’
Many people have responded to Rabi's proposed party's name.
KATHMANDU: A complaint has been filed with the Election Commission (EC) against Rabi Lamichhane, a former journalist who is preparing to form a national independent party.
On Wednesday afternoon, a complaint was filed against Lamichhane, according to spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel.
Sharma, the spokesperson, declined to comment on the petitioner. “Some friends have arrived,” he explained. They are welcome to come and discuss the petition.’
The Election Commission has begun the process of party registration following the announcement of the National Independent Party from Kathmandu City Hall on Tuesday. Poudel, a commission spokesman, stated.
Many people have responded to Rabi’s proposed party’s name. Some even claim that the word “independent” has been misused.
