Lamichhane announcing today whether he will contest from party or or as an independent

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, who left the media and enter politics, is about to introduce a political party. His party will be formally announced today at a function at City Hall.

Lamichhane, who recently resigned from Galaxy Television, intends to contest for the House of Representatives from Kathmandu in the upcoming election. He has not yet stated whether he will contest for independence or from a political party.

Lamichhane has decided to form his own party rather than join the party or run for independence. He is said to have made this decision in the hope that his party will perform well in the federal elections for proportional representation. Rabi himself will contest directly.

Rabi has already established his office in Kathmandu’s Basundhara. After resigning from Galaxy Television, he opened the office.
