KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), Sinamangal, has organized a free health camp in Gusingal, Lalitpur.

KMC organized the camp in Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 1. The free health camp benefited 853 patients, according to KMC General Manager Narayan Dahal.

According to him, 98 patients in the camp had heart tests (ECGs) and 186 had lab tests. Similarly, 143 patients were subjected to VCUG tests. 27 dental patients have had their teeth extracted at the camp, and 43 have been referred for surgery.

According to Dr. Sunil Sharma, Chairperson of KMC, the operation of free health camps has been expanded with the goal of providing access to all in sensitive areas such as health.

Previously, KMC provided free health checks and treatment to 982 patients in Thecho of Lalitpur and 1133 patients in Kirtipur.
