Ashmita, 17, dies falling from a cliff

KATHMANDU: A 17-year-old girl dies after falling from a cliff in Rukum West.

Ashmita Chand of Rugha, Triveni Rural Municipality-1 of the district, has been identified as the deceased.

Ashmita fell off a cliff near the Divyachakshu School in Rugha Taligaun on Sunday.

Ashmita, who is in class 11 at Tribhuvan Janata Secondary School in Musikot Khalanga, slipped and fell while going to throw garbage at her house, according to her family.
