KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has raised the price of gasoline yet again. The corporation’s board of directors met on Sunday and decided to raise the price of petrol by Rs 21 per liter and diesel/kerosene by Rs 27 with effect today.

Petrol now costs Rs 199 per liter, while diesel kerosene costs Rs 192. According to a statement issued by the corporation, the price of cooking LP gas has remained unchanged.

In addition, the government has raised the price of aviation fuel (internal and external). Internally, the price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 19 per liter and externally by $100 per kg.

Previously, the corporation only raised the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene on June 9. The corporation stated that the price was raised by adjusting the price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) the previous time.
