‘Former Maoists are coming together,’ says Prachanda
Prachanda claims that the Maoist movement has been reunited through a series of divisions.
KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ the chairperson of the ruling coalition partner CPN (Maoist Center), has claimed that a situation is being created for former Maoists to come together. “An environment is being created for the former Maoists to come together,” Prachanda said on Sunday during a meeting of the Nepal National Employees Federation’s central committee.
Prachanda claims that the Maoist movement has been reunited through a series of divisions, adding that the Maoist movement has also been divided. However, a series of reunions are currently taking place. We are working very hard on this. However, a situation for former Maoists to unite is now being created.
He claimed that torture was used to obtain his confession. “The tendency to seek to reverse federalism is still active today,” he said, adding that “employees, political parties, and the general public should fight this together as if it were yesterday.”
