Investigation been launched into ‘Golden Stick’ that Durga Prasai received from Prince of Dubai

KATHMANDU: Durga Prasai, a medical practitioner and UML central member, has received a golden stick from UAE Prince Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Chief of the Tribhuvan International Airport Customs Office, Mahesh Kumar Bhattarai, stated that the customs office was unaware that Prince Mohammed had brought a golden stick.

“I heard he arrived in Jhapa this morning via Tribhuvan International Airport and gave a golden stick as a gift,” he said. However, the gold stick brought has not been informed to customs.
