Both MCC & SPP introduced during the then KP Sharma Oli-led government
KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist Center, has claimed that both the SPP and MCC agreements were reached during the previous government.
Maoist Central Committee Chairperson Prachanda told reporters here on Friday that the SPP agreement would be revoked. He stated that passing the program with 12 points, as MCC does, would be impossible. “We only passed the MCC with a declaration of 12 points, but there will be no 12 points in the SPP, so it will be rejected,” he explained.
He also stated that the MCC and SPP projects were implemented during the tenure of the government led by former Prime Minister KP Oli. Even if MCC is passed, SPP will not be passed, it will be rejected. ‘
Chairperson Prachanda also said that the alliance would not be changed immediately. “Now the alliance is what it is,” he said. “It’s different for one or two people in the party,” he added. There is nothing like that in the party right now.’
