Foreign Minister Khadka said, “Chapter of SPP is over”

KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka stated that the US State Partnership Program (SPP) chapter has concluded.

Minister Khadka stated at a House of Representatives International Relations Committee meeting that the chapter would not move forward as the issues related to SPP have been resolved.

He stated that there was no need for further cuts as the Prime Minister had stated that even the Nepal Army would not move forward. “This is a settled subject.” “This is not in our national interest, and we will not proceed,” he said. “The Prime Minister has stated that even the Nepal Army will not move ahead.”
