Coalition panel wins in Gulmi DCC
A total of 24 votes were cast in the election held on Wednesday.
KATHMANDU: The five-party alliance’s panel was elected to the District Coordination Committee (DCC) Gulmi.
A total of 24 votes were cast in the election held on Wednesday. Eight members, including Tejendra Salami of the CPN-Maoist Center, have secured the same number of votes.
Eight members including Yuvaraj Neupane, who has been nominated by the CPN-UML for the post of coordination mayor, and Ramadevi Pun, who has been nominated for the post of deputy mayor, have secured the 9 each number of votes. Maheshwar Bhandari got 14 votes from the coalition and Krishna Bhandari got 10 votes from the UML.
According to Ram Bahadur Kunwar, Sher Bahadur BK, Sunita GC Kunwar, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Sabitra Bhandari, Bir Bahadur Karki, and Nirmaya Rana were elected as members.
