Release the blocked land or pay immediate compensation: Shekhar Koirala
For the past two years, the government has prohibited the sale and purchase of land as well as banking in Biratnagar-4.
KATHMANDU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, leader of the Nepali Congress, has demanded the immediate release of the blocked house and land business or compensation for the expansion of Biratnagar Airport. He demanded that the compensation not be distributed immediately via social media.
For the past two years, the government has prohibited the sale and purchase of land as well as banking in Biratnagar-4 in order to fund the airport’s expansion. According to Koirala, he has yet to receive local compensation.
बिराटनगर विमानस्थल बिस्तार गर्न सरकारले दुई बर्षदेखी बिराटनगर-४ मा रहेको घरजग्गा खरिद-बिक्री तथा बैंकिङ् कारोबारमा रोक लगाएको छ।अहिले सम्म स्थानीयले मुआब्जा पाएका छैनन।
