Decision to hold convention of Kathmandu metropolitian on July 21

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Executive Committee decided on Sunday to hold the city’s 11th convention on July 21.

The executive has approved Mayor Balendra Shah’s proposal to hold the convention on July 21 in accordance with Article 65 of the Local Government Operation Act.

A similar meeting established a local revenue advisory committee, with Deputy Mayor Sunita serving as its coordinator. Suman Shrestha, Chief Administrative Officer and Ward Chairperson, and Meena Singh are also members and women members.
