NTTV App of NTC Arrives for smartphones

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NTC) has launched its IPTV service on smartphones via the NTTV app. Customers of NTC can now watch dozens of channels on their handheld devices while on the go.

The app is still in beta testing. Following a period of testing, the company made it available on Tuesday, June 7th.

“In the beginning, we will make free-to-air channels available on the smartphone app.” Channels that require a subscription fee will take time to roll out, according to NTC spokesperson Shobhan Adhikari.

How to activate the NTTV app on your smartphone?

  • To begin, install the app on your smartphone.
  • Visit this link for Android devices and this link for iOS devices.
  • Launch the app once the download is complete.
  • You will be presented with two login options: log in and NTC log in.
  • Enter your Ntc phone number in the “LOGIN” field.
  • On that number, you will receive an OTP.
  • Enter it manually or allow your smartphone to do it for you.
  • Click the ‘Continue’ button.
  • You can now watch air-free channels on the NTTV app.

NTTV is an IPTV service available to Ntc fiber internet customers. It provides over 165 HD and SD channels.

The company offers NTTV service as part of an internet package that also includes telephone and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service. Nepal Telecom refers to it as Triple Play because all three services are delivered via the same fiber cable.

According to the most recent NTA data, the government-backed operator NTC has 1 lakh, 74 thousand, and 49 fiber internet subscribers.
