NC panel unopposed in Dhanusha DCC

KATHMANDU: A Nepali Congress (NC)  panel was elected unopposed to the District Coordination Committee (DCC) Dhanusha. Rajnanda Mandal Raj was elected unopposed as the committee’s chairperson.

Only Congress was nominated for the posts of DCC chief and deputy chief on Wednesday. Sangita Devi Thakur has been elected as the Deputy Chief of DCC, according to Dhanusha Chief Electoral Officer Brajesh Pyakurel.

Similarly, Dalit and minority members Mahendra Mahato, as well as Ishwori Prasad Sharma, Dambar Bahadur Thapa Magar, Phagu Yadav, Geeta Devi Yadav, Bikadevi Mijar, and Sonita Devi Sada, have been elected as members.

Among the DCC members was only the NC candidate.
