State 1 Government’s policy & program presented, priority to agriculture

BIRATNAGAR: The policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year have been presented by the State 1 government.

While presenting the government’s policy and program for the fiscal year 2079/080, state chief Parashuram Khapung stated that the Biratchowk-Ghinaghat road project, is a source of pride for the government, will be completed this year.

This is stated in the government’s policy to complete the project’s ongoing programs. Mundhum footpath has upgraded 87 kilometers of the footpath to build tourist infrastructure.

Priority for Agriculture

The government has given priority to agriculture. The state government stated that the agriculture sector has been prioritized in its policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2079/80. Farmers will be given subsidies based on agriculture and livestock insurance and production, according to reports.

Farmers will be informed about agriculture and weather, farmers will be taken to all local levels for listing, and government services will be based on farmer identity cards.
