In Pics: Youth Association Demonstration against embossed number plate

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML affiliated Youth Association Nepal has protested the embossed number plate.

The protest began at the Youth Association’s central office in Bijulibazar.

The Youth Association had obstructed government vehicles during the protest. There was a general brawl with the police during the protest.

Similarly, the Youth Association will petition the authorities about the corruption in yesterday’s embossed number plate.

The department issued a press release on Tuesday saying that the embossed plate is being made mandatory only in the vehicles specified in the information published in the Gazette dated Mangsir 6, 2078 (22 November 2021).
