State Hospital to be upgraded to a Teaching Hospital

SURKHET: The Salkot Primary Health Center in Surkhet’s Panchpuri Municipality-2 will be expanded to a 50-bed hospital.

Tilak Pariyar, the state chief, stated this while presenting the Karnali state government’s policy and program for fiscal year 2079/80.

Salkot Primary Health Center, according to the family, will be upgraded to a 50-cent hospital in order to make the western region of the Surkhet district more comfortable and quality. Which will be managed along with the necessary infrastructure.

Similarly, the government has adopted the policy of developing a specialized level state hospital in Birendranagar Municipality 4 and operating a health science academy.

Announcing the policy program, Pariyar said that the compulsion to go out of the state for health treatment will be gradually reduced.

Policies and programs are also included to develop the state Ayurvedic dispensary as a research center, make health services universally accessible, provide services such as community health services and telemedicine, and train and encourage health workers.
