Kidney Transplantation in Pokhara, Dialysis Services in District

POKHARA: The Gandaki government has announced that it will begin kidney transplant services in Pokhara, the state capital.

The government stated in presenting the policy and program that kidney transplantation will be done from Pokhara in collaboration with the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences.

Chief Prithvi Man Gurung announced that dialysis services would be expanded in all Gorkha, Lamjung, and Madhyabindu District Hospitals in order to provide regular kidney services to state residents.

Similarly, a 50-bed heart hospital will be built and run in Pokhara.
