A four-day-missing girl found dead

KATHMANDU: The body of a seven-year-old girl from Gurbhakot Municipality-5, Surkhet Dharapani, who had been missing for four days, has been found.

She had been missing since last Saturday when she went to a program organized by the municipality-5 with her grandmother.

After the girl did not return home on Monday, the family contacted the police. According to Ram Prasad Gharti, Information Officer at the Surkhet District Police Office, the girl’s body was found this morning at Mitbetini, 100 meters below her house.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Gharti, a team from the Chhinchu Area Police Office has arrived on the scene to investigate the incident. “The cause of the girl’s death is being investigated.”
