Body of a man found floating in Dhobikhola of Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: A man’s body was found in Kathmandu’s Dhobikhola.

A man’s body was found floating in the Dhobikhola this morning. Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali of the District Police Complex in Kathmandu stated that the body of a 40-45-year-old man was found in Dhobikhola. After seeing the body, the residents called the police.

After informing the police, a team from the Valley Crime Investigation Office in Baneshwor and the Maharajgunj Police Circle reached at the scene and collected the body.

According to Mainali, the body was taken to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for an autopsy. Police have stated that they are conducting an investigation into the incident.

The body has yet to be identified.
