Free health camp by KMC in Gothatar, Kathmandu
Twenty-seven patients who arrived at the camp with dental issues had their teeth extracted.

KATHMANDU: A free health camp has been conducted at Gothatar in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-7 of Kathmandu on Sunday.
In collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College and Rotary Club Baneshwor, a one-day health camp was held in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
At the camp run by the local Ananda Bhairav Secondary School, 921 people received free health checks. According to Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, 233 of them had blood tests, 196 had X-rays, and 107 had ECGs.
Twenty-seven patients who arrived at the camp with dental issues had their teeth extracted, while 32 patients who could not be treated at the camp were referred to the hospital for surgery. Previously, on Thursday and Friday, KMC held a two-day free health camp in Nuwakot’s Bidur Municipality.
With Dr. Sunil Sharma taking over as chairperson of the KMC, the organization has increased the number of free health camps. Thousands of patients have benefited from it.
