Sign of a public restroom on a blue background

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has prepared a blue background sign for public restroom identification.

The sign is intended to help the general public identify public restrooms and to identify all public restrooms.

The word ‘public toilet’ is written in white letters in Nepali at the top of a blue background within a circular line. A white sign for men and women is in the center. ‘Public Toilet’ is written in English at the bottom of the sign.

Those who want to make the toilets in hotels, restaurants, banks, commercial buildings, companies, firms, and non-governmental organizations in the metropolitan area public are encouraged to contact the metropolitan’s public-private partnership unit.
