KATHMANDU: The National Assembly has formed a special parliamentary committee to implement, research, and monitor federalism.

The National Assembly held a meeting on Friday. Khim Lal Devkota has formed a committee comprised of MPs Prakash Pantha, Uday Bahadur Bohora, Dr Bimala Rai Poudel, Ram Chandra Rai, Maya Prasad Sharma, and Pramila Kumari.

According to National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Timilsina, a special committee has been formed to study the political, financial, administrative, structural, and other aspects of federalism implementation and submit a report to the National Assembly as specified in the resolution.

He stated that the special committee’s term would be four months from the start of its work.
