NUWAKOT: A free health camp is being planned in Nuwakot’s Bidur Municipality-8.

In collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College and the Lions Club of Kathmandu Wonder Woman, a two-day free health camp has been organized in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

On Thursday, 995 people received free health checks at Bhairav Secondary School in Hattigauda on the first day of the camp.

According to Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, 201 people had blood tests, 142 had video X-rays, and 102 had ECGs.

Fifty-five patients were referred to the hospital for surgery after they were unable to be treated at the camp. The camp will also take place on Friday.

With Dr. Sunil Sharma taking over as KMC Chairperson, the KMC has increased the number of free health camps. Thousands of patients have benefited from it.
