POKHARA: JUNE. 1 – Kaski’s CPN (UML) has taken action against three people accused of sabotaging local elections.

The UML has suspended three people in connection with an incident in which audio of alleged election sabotage was made public.

UML Kaski said in a statement released on Wednesday that they had studied various issues related to Pokhara Municipality Corporation in the local elections and that they had been punished in accordance with Article 80 of the party’s constitution.

Those arrested include Manaj Pahari, a Pokhara 21 party organized member, Prashant Acharya, a Pokhara 33 ward committee vice-chairperson, and Prashant Acharya, a Pokhara 33 party organized member.

The release mentions that all three have been suspended.
