President Bidya Devi Bhandari in Surkhet

SURKHET: MAY. 31 – President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived in Surkhet. President Bhandari is in Surkhet for an unofficial visit.

Surkhet Assistant Chief District Officer Ishwori Prasad Pandey reported that she arrived in Surkhet’s Birendranagar at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bhandari will visit Badimalika in the Bajura district of the Far Western region and is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on Wednesday, according to Pandey.

According to Pandey, President Bhandari will hold informal talks at the Nepal Army’s Western Command. Bhandari, he claims, has no formal program.
