KATHMANDU: MAY. 30 – Balen Sah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has decided to hold the Municipal Executive Committee meeting live for the first time. He made the decision on Saturday, shortly after taking office. Taking the oath today, he stated that he has prioritized the corporation’s waste management work.
A meeting has been scheduled for 4 p.m. today to make further decisions. “We said a few days ago that we would not do interviews, hang garlands, or hold celebrations until the garbage was dealt with.” The people of Sisdol are suffering the brunt of our sins. They are suffering from cancer. They have a skin condition. They were dying. This is the time to be sad.
