KATHMANDU: MAY. 30 – The National Examinations Board has commenced this year’s grade 12 examinations across the country at once.

Board Chairperson Dr Mahashram Sharma informed that the grade 12 exams have peacefully commenced in 1,292 exam centres of all 77 districts since 8.00 am this morning.

According to the board, approximately 4.15 million examiners will take the exam this year. The exam will be held in 1,292 locations across the country.

Question papers will be distributed online to all 77 districts’ centers half an hour before the examination begins. The question papers will be photocopied and distributed to the examinees by the examination center.

Due to the all-pervasive effects COVID-19 pandemic during the last two years, the online arrangement was made to send the questions to the home centres of students. The same arrangement has been adopted this year as well.

The Board has called for all stakeholders and citizens to help conduct the examination in a peaceful, dignified and well-managed manner.

The examination will last until June 8.
