RAMPUR: MAY. 27 – Purbakhola Rural Municipality in Palpa district has decided to take responsibility for the education of parentless children.

Newly-elected Chairperson of Purbakhola Rural Municipality Nun Bahadur Thapa said the local government would extend support for such students to ensure an appropriate education for them.

During a media brief on Thursday, Thapa said his five-year tenure would be focused on bringing about special changes in education. Thapa was re-elected for the post of chairperson for the second term in the recently held local level election.

Chairperson Thapa has argued that quality of community schools should be upgraded and the students should be imparted equal education.
