Seven-year-old boy killed in tiger attack

KATHMANDU: MAY. 27 – A seven-year-old child was killed in a tiger at Amaldanda in Wangla of Sandhikharka Municipality-4, Arghakhanchi.

Samrat Nepali of Resunga in Gulmi, who was residing at his maternal uncle’s home in Sandhikharka, died after a man-eater tiger attacked him while he was playing on Thursday, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Amar Bahadur Thapa said.

Nepali was a two grader student at Bhagawati Basic School in Wangla.

DSP Thapa said the locals had informed the police after the boy’s dead body was recovered someone kilometre away from his home.
