KATHMANDU: MAY. 27 – Balendra Sah, the newly elected mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has stated that the work on the election results has begun.

In a statement following his election as mayor, he stated that he took the election results as a starting point and that he would work on his vision and agenda for the next five years.

“We’ve taken it as a start as of today,” he said. The result of the election that has come. This will be the beginning of our work, not the end. We are excited to see our vision and agendas realized over the next five years.”

He also stated that Kathmandu would be transformed into the world’s most beautiful and excellent city. He stated that he has adopted Kathmandu Metropolitian as a family and emphasized the importance of collaboration.
