Annual report of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee passed

KATHMANDU: MAY. 24 – An annual report of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee under the House of Representatives has been passed.

Committee Secretary Uday Bhandari said that the report, prepared by the committee incorporating its activities carried out in a year, was passed after holding a discussion on it.

Similarly, the report submitted by Sikta, Ranijamara and Bheri Babai Project Study Taskforce was also passed in the meeting.

Likewise, the meeting also approved the report presented by Scientific Forests Management related Taskforce was also passed following deliberations over it.

Committee President Purna Kumari Subedi said lawmakers Dal Bahadur Rana, Bhupendra Bahadur Thapa, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Radha Gyawali, Raj Bahadur Budha, Satya Narayan Sharma, among others, gave suggestions on the report presented by the study task force.

The Committee passed the reports with suggestions. The annual report was not prepared due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2077 BS and the dissolution of parliament in 2078 BS, shared Bhandari.
