Chiribabu’s second victory for the mayor of Lalitpur is certain

KATHMANDU: MAY. 24 – So far, 79,863 votes have been counted in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

Chiribabu Maharjan of the Nepali Congress (NC) has secured the lead with 39,232 votes. UML mayoral candidate Hari Krishna Byanjankar secured only 23,492 votes.

Manjali Shakya of the UML secured 23,731 votes for the position of deputy mayor, while Baburaj Bajracharya of the UCPN (Maoist) got 17,263 votes.

In Lalitpur Metropolitan City, wards 27 and 28 votes are being counted, while ward 29 votes are being prepared.
