Woman found dead in Phungling

KATHMANDU: MAY. 24 – A woman from Jhapa’s Birtamode Municipality was found dead. Maya Limbu Baraili, 33, of Buttabari in Birtamode-5, was found dead after returning from Pathibhara in Taplejung.

Her body was found hanging in a hotel in Phungling, Taplejung’s district headquarters. Baraili returned after visiting Pathibhara with her husband Bijay Baraili, according to Kushram Karki, Inspector General of Police at the District Police Office.

Maya’s parents informed the police to pick up the body only after they arrived, so the body is at the scene.
