With more than 135,000 votes counted, Balen’s lead remains intact

KATHMANDU: MAY. 23 – So far, 135,693 votes have been counted in Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s ongoing vote count.

Balendra Sah, the independent candidate for mayor of the metropolitian, has maintained his lead with 46,476 votes, according to the most recent update.

Similarly, his closest competitor, Congress candidate Sirjana Singh, polled 27,799 votes.
