Five DIG recommendations of police for promotion in AIG

KATHMANDU: MAY. 23 – Five Nepal Police Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) have been recommended for promotion to the position of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).

On Monday, the promotion committee recommended DIG Uttamraj Subedi, Arun Kumar BC, Divesh Lohani, Mukundaraj Acharya, and Pooja Singh for promotion to AIG.

According to Dhiraj Pratap Singh, member-secretary of the promotion committee and Inspector General of Police, the committee has recommended promotion in accordance with sub-rule 940 of rule 27 of the Police Rules, 2071 (with amendments).
