KATHMANDU: MAY. 23 – Sunita Dangol of the CPN-UML has maintained her commanding lead as Kathmandu Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor. She secured 45,875 votes, according to the most recent results.
Dangol’s closest rival, Rameshwar Shrestha of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party, is in second place with 15,282 votes. Dangol has 30,593 more votes than Shrestha.
Binita Magaiya of the RPP secured 7,933 votes for deputy mayor.
