Balen exceed 40,000 votes, Sirjana second

KATHMANDU: MAY. 22 – Balendra Sah exceed 40,000 votes. As of 2 p.m. on Sunday, he had polled 40,427 votes in his favour.

Sirjana Singh, the mayoral candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City on behalf of the ruling five-party alliance, is in second place with 23,193 votes. Balen has 17,234 more votes than Sirjana.

Keshav, a UML candidate, is ranked third. He is 776 votes behind Sirjana. Keshav secured 22,415 votes.
