KATHMANDU: MAY. 22 – The count of votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City is ongoing.

According to the current vote count, the ruling coalition’s candidate, Sirjana Singh, has surpassed UML’s candidate, Keshav Sthapit.

According to the most recent update, Sirjana secured 22,072 votes, while Keshav secured 21,571 votes. According to the results, Sirjana is 501 votes ahead of Keshav. Keshav was ahead until Saturday night.

Balendra Sah, an independent candidate, is in the lead. He has been leading since the beginning. Balen currently leads Sirjana by 16,934 votes. Balen has 17,435 more votes than Keshav.

The counting of votes in Kathamndu Metropolitian City Ward No. 21 has made Sirjana second. Here, another independent candidate Suman Sayami has got the third vote.

There have been 1,515 votes counted so far. Sirjana secured 445 votes, while Keshav secured 343 votes. Balen is ranked fourth in here. While he secured 218 votes, Sayami secured 221 votes, putting her in third place in the ward.
