3 killed in road accident in N. Afghanistan

PUL-E-KHUMRI, AFGHANISTAN: MAY. 21 – Three commuters have been confirmed dead in a road accident that took place in Afghanistan’s northern Baghlan province on Saturday, traffic police official Qari Nazir Abidi said.

The deadly accident, according to the official, took place in the Baghlan-e-Markazi district on Saturday morning on a congested road when a car collided with a truck coming from the opposite side.

Without providing more details, the official said that an investigation was initiated into the incident.
