Two killed in road accident

KATHMANDU: MAY. 21 – Two persons died in a road accident in the Arjuni area of Daiji-Jhalari section of East-West Highway, Kanchanpur on Friday night.

The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Bahadur Bam, 35, and Bhutesh Bahadur Bam, 18, of Bedkot Municipality-5.

According to the police, they died while undergoing treatment at Seti State Hospital, Dhangadhi.

The accident reportedly took place when a jeep hit a motorcycle that Ganesh and Bhutesh were riding on. The jeep driver has been arrested and further investigation into the incident is underway, according to the Area Police Office, Jhalari.
